MANY THANKS FROM THE FREEMAN FUND!
Our annual FREEMAN FUND campaign is well underway with a fast and easy way to contribute online at freemanptsa.org. With the click of the "Freeman Fund Donations" button, you can support this important academic fundraiser too! As many of you know, this is our only academic fundraiser, providing classroom equipment, teacher supplies and continued education programming needed and requested throughout this school year. The fund benefits our students, teachers, and the entire Freeman community.
Our mission is to financially support our students and teachers as they strive for educational excellence... we do this entirely through your donations and corporate gifts matching!
Be sure to let us know how we can obtain company matching gifts from your employers. This year we are helping several corporations with establishing matching gift programs! Contact Shelley Gouldin at 804-839-9824 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

ALL NIGHT GRADUATION PARTY
Greetings Freeman Community. If you are reading this you probably have a student(s) at Freeman that will graduate some time during the next 4 years. I’d like to introduce all grades at Freeman to one of the best and most treasured traditions at Freeman, ANGP. Each year on the night of graduation our seniors gather for this special all night party. They are surprised and delighted when they arrive at our local YMCA to see the incredible transformation of this space into a festive party with all the trimmings.
To name just a few ways in which this tradition is special…its safe, it is all inclusive for students graduating in 2019, it is a fun night with fantastic activities, opportunities to win big prizes such as TV’s, computers and other items students want and need as they head off to college.
It is a party collaborated by our parents and the PTSA in order to create a drug and alcohol free environment on a night that often times calls students to party and celebrate.
ANGP is the most positive way for students to celebrate, congratulate, and extend well wishes for the future. It is the best way we know in order to close the high school chapter on a positive note. This event is simply full of goodness!
I often use the expression, “It takes a village” when referring to raising our children. In the case of the ANGP we need the whole village in this process. There will be countless hours of volunteer assignments available, committee seats and chair positions to fill. We also need to fund this party and raise approximately $10,000 in order to make it a positive memorable experience for everyone. Please donate early and often. Your contributions do not go unnoticed and are deeply appreciated.
